I wrote this song the day after the Covenant School shooting in Nashville last week. Being so close to home it hit me extra hard. I was overcome with sadness for the loss of life of the families and loved ones, including the three 9 year old children. I was also filled with anger that these mass shootings keep happening ... more and more!

So I did what I often do when I'm trying to process emotions ... write songs. The chords came to me very quickly on my acoustic guitar. The chord changes sounded sad to me in the verses but then a bit of the anger and frustration comes out in the choruses. Some came "Enough is Enough"

I don't want to make this political because from what I see and hear is that most people (right or left) want sensible gun law reform. We owe it to our children, don't you think?

Anyway, I had thought about releasing this as a single on iTunes, Spotify, etc... but I don't want to try and profit on this one bit. So I uploaded it to YouTube. It's purely for healing (for myself and others) and perspective. I hope you can find comfort and reflection while listening. The lyrics are below if you'd like to follow along.

Enough is Enough
