Bernie Chiaravalle is one of my favorite musicians and writers/producers. I have chosen his LPs in the past and this year "Long Before I knew You" is again, on top of the list!

This is the 12th solo album release by Bernie Chiaravalle. This collection of songs were mostly written in the 1970s, 1980s and early 1990s and have never been released. They were mainly created while Bernie was in his Marin County, CA band Logos (who later became Allies). He also wrote some of these songs while in a band called Page One in the early 80s when he moved to Los Angeles and joined Michael McDonald's band in 1988.

All instruments and vocals were done by Bernie and he also produced and engineered the record.
