39 years ago today
It's really hard to believe it's been 39 years since John Lennon left us. I can still remember the night I first heard he was gunned down that night. I know I'm not the only one who felt like I had lost a close friend or even a family member. John Lennon and The Beatles were the very reason that I started playing music and writing songs. He was also a major role model to me. Sure, he wasn't perfect by any means but maybe that's why he was so loved. He was an honest artist. His spirit continues to inspire me daily. Peace and love, BC
